The journal is structured for an international editorial board with subject editors, advisory members, statistical support, and reviewer networks.

Editorial roles

Editor-in-Chief

Provides scholarly leadership, oversees editorial policy, safeguards editorial independence, and makes final decisions when needed.

Managing Editor

Coordinates manuscript intake, author communication, production checks, issue planning, and publication workflow.

Section Editors

Lead subject-area assessment for veterinary medicine, infectious disease, animal production, reproduction, welfare, nutrition, and One Health.

Associate Editors

Manage peer review, recommend decisions, evaluate revisions, and support reviewer selection.

Statistical and Methods Advisors

Advise on study design, data analysis, reporting quality, reproducibility, and interpretation.
