Submission

Submit your manuscript

GJVAS uses an online submission system for double-blind manuscript submission, editorial screening, peer review, revision, and production tracking.

Formal submission starts in the journal submission system: manuscript files, author metadata, references metadata, and editorial correspondence for GJVAS are handled in the editorial portal. All submission metadata and manuscript files must be provided in English.

Two-file upload requirement: submit one Full Manuscript (with Author Details) and one Blinded Manuscript (for Peer Review). Each file may be Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) or PDF (.pdf). No other file is required at initial submission.

How to prepare the two required files

1) Full Manuscript (with Author Details): include the title page, complete author and affiliation details, ORCID iDs, acknowledgements, funding, author contributions, conflicts of interest, ethics approval, consent statements, data availability, complete article text, references, figures, tables, legends, and other declarations required for the article type.

2) Blinded Manuscript (for Peer Review): include the complete reviewer-facing article, references, figures, tables, and legends, but remove author names, affiliations, ORCID iDs, corresponding-author details, identifying acknowledgements or funding information, comments, tracked personal data, and identifying document properties.

  • Either file may be uploaded as .doc, .docx, or .pdf.
  • Place any cover letter, highlights, reporting information, supplementary material, or applicable declarations within the full manuscript rather than uploading them separately.
  • The editorial office receives both files; peer reviewers receive only the blinded manuscript.

Launch fee note: publication fees are waived during the inaugural first year. Standard APCs after the first year are USD 1,500 for research, review, methods, and technical-note articles, and USD 600 for case reports and short communications.
